On November 11, 2023, StepNesia, represented by Risky, received an invitation and attended the Future Leader Fest 2023 event at the Teater Tanah Airku, Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, Jakarta, Indonesia. This event was presented as an inspirational platform for young people who want to become positive “Agents of Change” for the nation and state, It was held by the Alumni Association of the Bandung Institute of Technology/Ikatan Alumni Institut Teknologi Bandung (IA-ITB) Jakarta in collaboration with ID Next Leader and other communities in Indonesia.
The theme of this event was “Contributing to the Nation”, by presenting thinkers, practitioners, and inspirational young figures in various sectors, ranging from education, business, and technology, to leadership. With three main themes: Digital Transformation, Equality, and Sustainable Growth. Together, we will explore relevant discussions and dialogues that encourage young people to grow and contribute to Indonesia through the smallest things.
It was also attended by 1,100 participants from all over Indonesia. During the seminar & talk show session, speakers were presented according to their experience and competence. Such as Mr. Emil Dardak who is currently the Deputy Governor of East Java, Mrs. Weni Maulina who is the Director of Construction of PT MRT Jakarta, Billy Mambrasar who is currently a Special Staff of the President of the Republic of Indonesia and many more great speakers who inspire participants to have enthusiasm in achieving dreams.
This event provided a lot of knowledge and insight to all participants who attended to be able to have a broad perspective, good leadership skills, and be able to have a positive impact on the country. Not only seminar and talk show sessions but also this event allowed us to build networks with people or communities that exist there.
Several communities that were present also provided opportunities for anyone who wanted to join as a volunteer to increase and improve their knowledge. What made it even more special the event was giving a lot of prizes such as cash, cell phones, books, and others to participants who were actively asking questions.
